What does Free Kinder funding mean?
The Victorian Government provides free kindergarten funding for eligible children to support their learning and development in the year prior to starting school.
This funding covers 15 hours of kindergarten each week, which can be used at any approved kindergarten program in Victoria. Our Kindergarten programs will receive this funding directly from the Victorian Government, so your family won’t have to pay out of pocket or claim any savings. Kids Haven is participating in Free Kinder across Melbourne.
The Free Kinder Funding program aims to ensure that every child can access the benefits of early learning, providing them with a strong foundation for a successful school journey.
